Mold Remediation
It is important when dealing with mold that you use professionals. Visual Inspection
The first step is to go through the house and look for the obvious signs of mold. Places were there are water leaks or damage, and moisture stains will all be checked for the growth of mold. Mold thrives in these moisture areas, where they reproduce and grow. Also, the air conditioning, heating systems, and crawl spaces will be inspected.
If the presence of mold is located, then mold testing will be done. The testing includes air, tape, and swab sampling.

Mold Testing
The visual inspection has shown there is mold in your house. The next thing is to have the mold tested to find out how much is there, and what type of mold is there. An average inspection takes 3 hours, and pictures are taken for documentation purposes. All results are kept confidential, and will not be released unless court ordered. Air Sampling
If there has been water damage to a building, or a musty odor, people with constant health problems, there can be hidden mold. Air Sampling is done both in the inside, and outside of the house for comparison. The sample will show where the mold stemmed from, and where the problems exist. The AC or the heater systems must be on for the most accurate test.

Tape/Swab Sampling
To discover what kind of infestation of mold there is, a tape or swab sample is taken. On a visually mold covered area the sterile swab is used.

All of the samples and inspections are taken by Envirosafe Restoration, LLC. The samples are then sent to a third party for the testing. This ensures the client is not getting a conflict of interest, and will have the results in their hands.

Health Issues Related to Mold
Small exposure to mold can cause some people to have numerous reactions to mold. People who are repeatedly exposed to mold might not even know it, and the health problems they have are most likely due to the mold. In the presence of mold the individuals that already have asthma attacks, those with allergies, infants, children, elderly, pregnant women, others with respiratory problems, and immune-compromised patients are all at a higher risk of health effects due to the mold. Wood Restoration

Water and Flood Restoration
